Site history (this is fun, right!)

• bwcartoon v4 - All the PHP code is organized into OOP classes now, and I added a captcha. Exciting! Put up 6th Dec. 2006.
• bwcartoon v3 - Redesigned site. New mysql database for newsposts, plus the talk page and comments feature (now disabled). Moved the site to Dreamhost (they are pretty great).
• bwcartoon v2 - an old version of the site! Since this is pre-database, there's no news or comments. But the comics still work. This version was based on Walrus which taught me PHP.

Privacy statement (this is even more fun, right!!!)

My hit counter tracks some basic stats, such as your geographic location, IP address, browser type, stuff like that. Far from desiring to use this information malevolently, I wouldn't even know how. Of the information volunteered when you post a comment, your name and website are displayed; but your email address will NEVER be displayed, nor will I ever use it or sell it in ANY way, other than to contact you directly if I need to. In the unlikely event that my database is hacked, I will waste no time in deleting all the email addresses to protect you.
